Some companies will find it and then fire you for not disclosing it.
What does the job application ask about tickets? Most want a 5 yrs. history. Just be honest because one ticket 3 yrs. ago isn't too bad unless it's a 15 mph over, then some companies consider that a reckless driving and may have a problem with it.
Put your location on your profile.EzekelRAGE and x1Heavy Thank this. -
Pull your driving record, if clear it should have a one sentance on the bottom, no violations past 7 years for this driver, or however many years you pulled it for.
Once in a while the State writes me a ticket for something. I pay the fine which happens to be the lunch hour and I find that the fine money is treated as a contribution to the cause rather than a guilty plea.Lucy in the Sky and EzekelRAGE Thank this. -
Companies such as Prime and Maverick will find out and fire you. They spend tons of money on background checks or have the software to do it. Usually they won't hire you if you've ever been fired or have gaps in employment. I know there's exceptions to the rule, but that's their general policy.
NavigatorWife and EzekelRAGE Thank this. -
If you get pulled over at a weigh station in that state, I believe you can get arrested for not taking care of that ticket
NavigatorWife and EzekelRAGE Thank this. -
That's true and a few drivers have posted on here, they were put "out of service" at the scales until the ticket is taken care of.NavigatorWife Thanks this.

3 years I believe.
is your full driving record and traffic violation report the same things?
my TRV reads "no traffic violations exist for this driver".
Would that just be for Arkansas only though?x1Heavy Thanks this. -
I imagine if you paid the ticket, all should be fine.
It should show somewhere though, right?
What home state and what ticket state, - and did you pay it in time? -
Let me see if I got this straight.
The OP got a speeding ticket, for which he was issued a summons to appear in court, and didn't go to court.
I'm no lawyer obviously, but IIRC that would immediately cause the judge to whom that case was assigned to issue a bench warrant for the OP's arrest, which will be instantly made known to any LEO that asks for his ID and checks for outstanding warrants.bullhaulerswife, Panhandle flash, NavigatorWife and 2 others Thank this. -
Ticket was never paid because I never went to court.
AR/MO.x1Heavy Thanks this.
