Loaners are at the various Plants Wisconsin150
( not sure about xxx-Tex)
Call your dispatchers and they should be able to name
what truck #'s are available at the location nearest you.
Divert ...and get a good loaner . Stop babysitting their
POS International trucks.
I've grabbed loaners out of UPN/GP/and almost once in NV
...a loaner is a loaner is a loaner
A car with an average MPG will need 13.02 gallons of gas to cover the route between Phoenix, AZ and Henderson, NV.

Hot day
A/C went out on loaner on way back from Salt Lake but made her in and transferred #### over to another truck at Poly West. From the short time I have been back it seems we have picked up a lot of different type back haul and places. Got a BH from SLC picking up in Kingman, AZ and heading to New Cany, Texas. Pretty fair run. Deliver Monday 0400 and who knows from there.

I sat in Phoenix for a week for international to fix it. They finally said nothing wrong with it.
I then drove it to Henderson then oregon. Coming out of Oregon it went out again.
So I just drove at night and stayed in hotels during the day. Finally got it to International dealer in Laredo. It took them about a week to fix it. It's worked ever since.
I ran up over $1,700 in hotel charges
Plus i wasn't making money while truck in shop.
Yes I had to pay out of pocket but was reimbursed within a week of turning the receipts in. -

CPM (or money in general) should never be the only thing "pulling" you to a company. It's a proven fact that money alone is not a very good retention tool. You'll always be happier if you seek out a balance. We all have to eat. I get that. But, we also need to be as stress free as possible. I know I could probably make more money somewhere else, but I make $55-$60k a year where I am and that's fine by me. My truck rarely breaks and when it does, it's fixed. Had to get a fuel filter replaced yesterday. Rolled into our terminal at 1655 (shop goes home at 1700). I said "Do I need to come back in the am?". They said "No, go ahead and bring over and we'll get it now".
Also, everyone from the owner (talked with him this morning) down is friendly and willing to help you out anytime.
All that means more to me than making more money and having to put up with endless b.s.28, carramrod32 and truckerman75103 Thank this. -
Poly thread seems to have died....anybody still working here?
