I am leased to a company that offers mileage pay and percentage. If I run mileage it pays $1.05 per mile plus FSC. All miles are paid, Percentage is 67% plus FSC, no deadhead miles. The loads going into Florida pay good, but coming out are Juice loads that are low paying. I can't seem to figure out if the deadhead pay would balance out the good paying loads against the mileage ........Quandry

One oh five. Wow. Are they leasing on more trucks?
JimmyWells Thanks this. -
$1.05!!!!!! i guess you just as well try the percentage can't be much worse then $1.05. What exactly do you consider the good paying loads they have?
-
I know $1.05 is low,BUT, it is for ALL miles, even when I come home. It has been a while since I ran percentage for this company, but if I remember they were running $1.93 cpm. All our runs from the north go to Florida, and those juice loads coming out are cheap loads around $1.00 cpm. So you are looking at $1.46 for a round per mile, with no D/H miles

1.05 thats what most lease purchase pay.
Thats too low when for o/o -
&1.05 plus fsc seems about normal for most carriers.havnt really checked in a while tho.

You need to find a new company! But hey if your happy with them carry on. So at 67% and $1.93 headed south puts your percentage at like $1.29 and your load back out of Florida at 67 cents. Not being rude but I don't see why your happy with any of this ALL miles so what. There's a lot better options out there. Get your own numbers and run on your own
-
LMB. Have you even looked at other options? Is this a lease purchase? Is your truck financed threw your carrier?
-
I own my truck. I like running for this company due to the fact, that I live in North Carolina, and 99% of my runs are NC to FL and back. I am going to look into hauling containers out of the Wilmington, NC port

Hey if it's working for you carry on. Wasn't trying to be rude or negative. But I can't help but say you are probably in one of the only situations that pulling cans might actually pay more! Seriously tho if your happy with the $ and the run and the work just carry on who cares what anybody thinks if it's working for you?
