I'm not interested in it. Just wanted to know how it works because that's a cheap rate. Some of you all are so bitter it's sad.

It's not bitterness. There are literally hundreds of threads on this on ttr. Take a couple of weeks to go through them all and then ask questions.

Why? Instead of replying and complaining just answer the question. If not go back to sleep

Why would you run for $1.05 per mile when you say in another thread that you have freight for $1.95 per mile. Go get you a truck and get after it.

I don't know all the deal, but I owned some trucks that a buddy wanted me to put onto Landstar and it seemed too corporate for me. We hauled flatbed so I'm not sure about van. From what I remember they were pretty strict on the truck condition. I had a unit not pass "DOT" inspection for landstar where they were gonna have their guys fix it. However, I said screw that and went to another company where my rigs were fine (they were fine at scale houses too). Also, the smaller company paid more than landstar and didn't charge as much for the trailer. All of that said, I never ended up working for them, so I can't be sure that they aren't good. I'm pretty sure I didn't help you at all, lol

Ok - take LS out of the equation, they don't do this.

    Buy a truck.
    Lease on to $1.05/mile company.
    You pay the fuel.
You don't need your own authority to do so, you are 'leasing on' to THEIR authority.

    Better now?
