That's correct! after getting the 1/2 shower credit, approach the lady at the counter and ask her to use the PA , so you can find your other half!!!

 

it's actually a good deal for company drivers who are restricted to buying only so many gallons and this or that particular Pilot only. Say the driver is authorized for 48 gallons, going to just about any other truck fuel place, that qualifies for a big fat ZERO shower. Pilot says you have 1/2 shower and tomorrow your company says go over there and pump in 24 gallons, now you have the full shower credit. Whereas if you had gone to the TA you'd have negative 1 shower for those two fuels.

Sometimes the lovestarved cashier will take pity on you and credit you a whole shower when you show her you only have 1/2 credit today.

 

Better than zero credit for like a reefer only fill up or small straight truck fill up, or otherwise not being able to reach 50 gallons.

1/2 + 1/2 = 1

0 + 0 = 0

Well, she's working at a truck stop right? Just waiting for trucker in shining armor to waltz though the doors. At least that's what every 285 pound+ belly rollin' loudmouth supertrucker struttin' through the doors thinks.

 

And BTW. If you do end up with a half shower credit, you're probably wise to do another 40 gallon purchase within a day or two and quickly use the full credit. Otherwise you'll quickly lose the half credit.
