Those wages are lower than average in this area, and BH doesn't have the best reputation due to low ball bidding practices.

 

They must have an account down here in South Florida. I see them with box trucks and lift gates. Never heard anything bad about them but never actually talked to one of their drivers either. We used Ryder trucks before as they do and the Ryder people spoke good of them but obviously that means nothing. They are a big account for Ryder so they I guess have an incentive to like them.

 

lmao. Company might as well be called Dark Horse. Every time I see one of their day cabs running around I'm thinking the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse or to a lesser extent,a hearse.

 

They way they drive I'm not surprised.

 

I worked for Black Horse doing auto parts delivery for a little over a year. Pay was above average, home daily, and approx. 45 hr work week. It was going well until they installed the driver facing cameras. After 14 months of never missing a day of work and never being late, they fired me one week before my (hard earned) payed vacation. One Friday night I hit the rumble strip for less than 2 seconds, got a call from the safety man Monday morning saying I fell asleep at the wheel and that I was being terminated for a "grievous safety violation" and they that they were reporting it to DAC with that exact wording. Ive since left the trucking industry in utter disgust.

 

Lets do a review of your "Professionalism"? The man talked the a recruiter then reported on what he heard. Mabey he put some words of his own in but we can see that. Then a person such as yourself has to insult him just for speaking up.. I'm going to take a guess here and say the words you use on the radio the most are "Drive your own truck" Right? Its drivers? like you that are the problem these days. Have a good day holding that steering wheel..
