what's the basis for that argument? Supreme Court rulings state that law enforcement can be filmed

 

That's got to be somewhat demoralizing before a power-hungry head tripping cop your sergeant tells you first thing in the morning okay Officer friendly your job today is to take the rookie Skippy with you and go hit the truck stops towing trucks that are illegally parked then go ahead and give everyone else a hard time also officer friendly I just wanted to tell you you keep up this good work and you'll make detective first grade in no time don't worry about any real police work just do what I tell you and you'll climb the ladder fast. I used to laugh my ### off when I lived out in California and I lived in Newport Beach and that used to have the cops come through on bikes and no #### they had lights on their helmets I used to laugh my ### off every time one of them came by I kept waiting to see a cop on Rollerblades that would have been hilarious I would have ####ing lost it

 

Florida is one of those states where all parties have to be aware they are being filmed including cops. But courts have said anyone anytime in a public place may be filmed as there is no expectation of privacy regardless if they are aware they are being filmed. Problem is the court did not define what a public place is so the law enforcement down in Florida filed a complaint against my video so I had to edit it to blur out the content.

 

I'm sure you could probably take it to court and win the case

 

Those are "wiretap" laws which do not apply to filming in public places. Too bad you folded like a cheap suit.

P.S. Didn't your mother teach to not talk with your mouth full? Nothing you have to share is that important that it can't wait for you to stop masticating. That reason alone is enough to prevent me from ever watching any of your videos.

It is quite disturbing, actually, that you have so little regard for your audience that you would sit there stuffing your face in a video. For the record, I didn't get past the second chicken nugget.

 

Youtube and Google are making so much money and have zero interest in paying lawyers to fight lawsuits winnable or not. So much easier to tell the youtube contributor to edit their video or face having their channel shut down. I'm still in business publishing new video content which makes me happy. I still own the content with the officer's faces and there are still other venues to post the content.

As far as eating on cam... perhaps you are not aware, there is a whole genre category of people eating things on cam on youtube. It is a Thing. Wow you just came out swinging to dress me down and only showed how truly unhip you are lol.

 

A sign of maturity is knowing and doing what is right regardless of whether it makes one popular or not... someday you might understand that.

And, yes, I am aware some people earn money "eating on youtube." People make money selling illegal drugs and killing people too.
