DOT # - now tons of calls

Turn it around, offer to sell them trucking services at 3x the going rate...

 

It's not that hard to find your phone number. Give me the name of your business and I can find out your DOT number and any and all inspection violations you've had in about 5 seconds. After I do that, a good Google search should produce your phone number.

These people just look at the DOT number registry, which is available for free to anybody that cares to look it up on the Safer website.

 

That was it! I'd been on DNC registry federal and state, and the one to block junk mail/credit offers, apart from the companies I already dealt with . . .

All was well till we registered the LLC with the state.

 

I was slick when I got my number, I bought a prepaid phone and used that number. After like 2 months I switched phones and updated mcs 150. Also did that with the email address. Didn't help a lot with snail mail tho... Still get bs mail mainly factoring and official looking scare mail to get you to pay them to comply for things that have already been done...

I personally think all those companies that use those tactics should be fined.

Most of the calls you are getting will be from financial types. Factoring or offering you money to buy equipment. With the low interest rates available people need places to park their money. Talk to them if you wish or don't answer. My answering machine handles all those calls for me.
