I called on pricing on a glider yesterday. Sales called me back this morning and first question was " how many gliders had I built in the last 10 years". I told him this would be my first. He said Sorry can't help you. Said in order to meet the "new" guidelines the factory's first question in order to be eligible was you could only order one if you had already built one in the last 10 years. I would have to fill out a questionnaire, have it notarized and returned to the factory before starting the process of ordering.
Anyone built one in the last 10 years that I can use one of there spots this year if they are not using it?

OK I got the scoop on this, the sales idiot was wrong, you will be limited to ordering no more than 300 after December 31, 2017. Prior to that date you will be limited to the number of trucks you built as a shop, NOT as an individual. They can still sell you the glider, you have not built more than one so even though it specifies the limit, you are not a shop and that limit applies to shops.
This is where I will make it political. Write to the new president (I KNOW many of you won't) and tell him how the new emissions effects you and ask him if he can remove the restriction on the closing of the loophole for gliders based on Phase 2 emission standards.
