I guess that after picking my jaw up off the floor, my next thought is that this guy must have the entire local law community pissed off at him!
But I just cannot see any district attorney continuing to pursue this. It just doesn't make any sense.
We always think of strings being pulled, when a suspect/defendent that clearly seems to be guilty, gets off. But I'm wondering if this isn't the reverse of that. Strings being pulled to put him away, or at least to cause him as much heartburn as possible.
There could be a lot of reasons for that.
But unless the district attorney is not going to run for relection, and is totally senile, he will realize that this is likely to be a career ending case.

But you would not be in The Land Of Fruits And Nuts.

One of many reasons that I determined in 1999 that my truck, starting the new century, would not go west of I-25. Everything gets goofy west of that.
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
If I was the DA, I would love a challenge to prosecute someone on Caffine. Darn it it's intoxicating. WHERE IS MY COFFEE!!??? NOW!!!
lol. /sarcasm.
What is it that was said, you too brutus?
Frankly that requires little explaintion. If I was arrested and prosecuted for intoxicated caffinee coffee driving, should the Court Prosecutors and jury holding coffees also be intoxicated and unable to have a fair trial? They too should be prosecuted. -
This was on Rush (Mark Stein) I believe yesterday. Nothing new was added from his end, other than how ridiculous this is and how vindictive the agent is to continue all this.

DUI case has been dropped.

In a similar vein, one of our illustrious lawmakers here in Utah has introduced a bill to change our DUI law here from .08 to .05. Once again, Utah is trying to show just how moral they are. Actually, they are just a bunch of Hippocrates.

The way that state is going they'll outlaw passing gas, CARB will get involved requiring everyone entering The People's Republic of Kalifornia to prove they have their anti-intestinal gas colostomy bags installed....
