Out of hours and stuck without parking, what do you do?

Beat me to it. It's a pretty new place so not that many people know about it yet. I go to O'hare pretty regularly and this is really the only decent place on the west side of Chicago. Within walking distance of a Walmart and other helpful stuff too if you need it.rank, ncmickey and whitelinequeen Thank this.

If you're there 4 hours already, depending on what your hours looked like before you got there, log those 4 as sleeper, by the time they call you to load you in an hour, keep it in sleeper til the 8 hour mark. yes yess I know that is falisification but sometimes we have to do what we have to do. You would then have legal hours to drive off the property somewhere and our next break would be 2 hours off duty and/or sleeper to complete the 10 hour break. I do it all the time.

I was told u can drive to a safe place. How do you expect a driver to sit in a no parking area. I would drive to a safe place and too bad.

my company does not allow split Sleeper Berth but my company is not the one driving the truck I do what I need to do. I'm captn of my ship. I do a split whenever I have to and they usually never say nothing
