Troops To Transportation (Employment Inquiry)

Good luck with everything. I got medically retired out of ft Stewart and went with Knight Transportation for a year before moving to KY for a local job.

 

I just got out the Army at the end of July. I will be using my GI Bill to go through the truck driving program at one of my local community college. I start school on the 26th of this month.

 

You can start the VA 2 yrs out when retiring, don't wait or need the orders. Start now, it takes awhile depending how messed you are.

 

Great, make sure its accredited school with the trucking companies. They are looking for that nowadays. Don't forget you should get your BAH for that area(E5 w dependents). And a book allowance too.
