Its a very good idea to get that GED. But I have never heard of a trucking company that requires one. I am sure there is , but 99.9% won't care. They are more concerned about that MVR and a decent work history.
Oh slow down and make no excuses
Will my tickets make it impossible?

I don't see a problem. Most truckers look back over the long and illustrious careers and realized most of their earnings went to speeding tickets, strippers, and booze. When it comes time to retire, they get on government assistance and hang out at the local Foreign Legion Post bragging about their top secret exploits in the seal teams that the president doesn't even know.

The more tickets you have the fewer choices you will get. And they will be from less than desirable companies, The more you have. Generally speaking ( No benefits, older equipment, etc.)

I heard a couple of truckers who said they had "Blown a SEAL". Call me old fashion but I liked the days of don't ask don't tell.
austinmike, Lepton1 and SHOJim Thank this.
