True or Foltz?

Foltz boldly embraces all the worst things about the trucking industry.

I had the extreme misfortune of working with these heathens. They specialize in: lying, stealing and cheating. They are very good at it, unfortunately. Many O/O's, L/O's and company drivers have suffered because of the 3 brothers who screw everyone that works for them. Frank, Tom and Ken Foltz can look you straight in the eyes and make you feel better about the hosing you are about to get.

Like all bad companies, they skim 30% off the actual line haul rate before they dispatch the load to their drivers. Then, they take another 19% of the remaining 70% they tell the drivers. Sound familiar?

Frank is the one in charge. He basically hates everyone and cheats you on your lease. Tom is the simple minded one who runs safety and recruiting. He can do the least amount of damage there. Ken is the one who screws the drivers out of their earnings. In a pinch, they can do each others jobs.

The ladies in the office will smile to your face and all the while they know you are getting hosed and will not let you know. Golly, gee, ain't that something?

The maintenance department is as guilty as everyone else. They will do unauthorized work to your vehicle and take it out of your settlement without telling you about it. They also do the same thing with the RDO Volvo dealership in Fargo, ND (where Foltz orders their units). RDO is a scum bag outfit that bills you for work not done on your leased tractor. They basically refuse to do warranty work as it should be. They direct bill Foltz for the hours spent and anything else they claim. Once again, YOU are not told about this. You discover it on your settlement that you were charged for free maintenance. Once again, this is unauthorized work.

What we all know as the "good ol' boys" network, is alive and well at Foltz. If you are not willing to load your grain hopper to overflowing (over weight) by at least a ton or three and dodge scales to avoid tickets, then you will not be allowed to earn any decent money. Favoritism is how Foltz operates.

Dispatch frequently assigns loads to drivers who are running legally and gives that load to one of their "guys." These are higher paying loads (even after Foltz steals 30% off the top). Ken Foltz is keenly aware of how much your earnings are each week. Everything you do is 100% manipulated.

These evil S.O.B.'s are the demons of the pet food industry.

 

Yes. It seems so many drivers are too angry to write when they leave. The truth about these despicable people needs to be told. I wrote about the highlights, but there is much more...

 

Just got an IM from another driver. He asked if I had seen the crap on the new and updated Foltz website. I had not, so I just did. Good grief. Four of their butt kissing drivers are featured on the main page. Their new accomplishment is a vey well produced video telling all the lies (and more) I wrote about earlier. Wow.

 

Foltz has the DOT in their pocket and perhaps others too.

 

Personally, I lost many thousands of dollars. Some lost well over &10,000 in false charges before they left.
