Supposedly a couple of trucks in an if word on the street is valid they are 589 Pete's with Cummins but can't confirm myself.
Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Sounds like I heard the same. Was told they ordered 65 new Pete's this past Momday to arrive in April, but can't confirm that either. I know the goal is to replace the Maxx force so they will need to order 140 more hopefully sooner than later.

Not to be a nit picky prick (or not more than usual)...Pete doesn' have a 589. Maybe a 587, 579, or 389. (I only know because I had to look it up). I think they had their model numbers confused.majestyk Thanks this.
-
I don't know #### about Pete's except I really liked the 372 models
I do believe it is a 500 something and not a 389.
-
Where are you heading to? Best of luck wherever you land.supersnackbar Thanks this. -
I didn't know Pete's models before Magnum...and I only know 3 now. We use 579's and 587's...and I think Walmart has 389's.
I haven't officially decided where, but I am kinda considering regional flatbed.
Pete's would be good for Poly. My 579 with an APU isn't much heavier than those last Cummins Prostars Poly got in...and they're right around the corner. They could shuttle drivers over to the plant to pick up their own truck. -
Saw the new remodeled prostar last month. Vast improvement and Cummins 15 ltr under the hood.
-
Alan told us they are the 579's. All automatic, with Tag axles. Suppose to be getting over 100 of them eventually.
-
They didn't learn from those Prostars with the tag axle setup? Auto I could handle, tag axle in the wide range of snowy area's they travel in...na. 579 is a decent truck, especially with the Cummins.

APU's ?
