    If you get an enhanced license you don't need a passport to travel to Canada. I'm not sure about Mexico.

    Schneider doesn't go into Mexico, they have brokered Mexican companies bring to loads to the Laredo yard.

    I never got a passport.

    If you don't have or want to get the enhanced license quatto advised, look into gettong a passport card. Only good for land and sea travel between U.S., Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda. Quite a bit cheaper than a full passport, and can be put in your wallet, unlike the little book passport.
