It's OK if some of you are afraid to stand up for yourselves, even tho your forefathers would turn over in their Graves ....
It's us little rebels that beat the snot of out of our oppressors for the freedom of all ," built on faith in God " ! Believe it or not !
... How else would a bunch of home made rebels go up against the biggest and most powerful army of the world of that time Era ....and win
Even tho we have turned our backs on him, he loves us still !!

How can they still get away with doing this? It has not changed much. I was told by the lady that works there at Hireright, that the companies have choices by using a drop down box with 1-2 words in them. So if it says accident, it could be short, such as Head On, or something else. It is ridiculous and sad for the drivers to get a bum deal. My husbands DAC shows a head on collission with Swift. He is disputing this of course, but it takes up to 30 days. and they may or may not change it. He has a police report to prove it was not. It was a side scrape, minor damage.

You must dispute any misinformation in the Hireright transcript. For example, I went to orientation at US Xpress years ago. While there, I noticed what I was being told in orientation wasn't consistent with what I was told on the phone by the recruiter. I quickly realized the bait n switch and decided to terminate my orientation and went to work for another company. Months later I requested a copy of my hireright transcript and to my horror, saw where US Xpress had the audacity to post
"QUIT OR DISMISSED FROM ORIENTATION"
Well what exactly does that mean? How is a prospective employer to interpret that? It's an ambiguous statement and needs clarity.
So I emailed Hireright and requested they submit a letter to US Xpress as to what actually occurred. Which was it? Quit or dismissed? US Xpress conceded that I left own my own and was not dismissed. The entry on my DAC was updated to reflect that. One year later I had the entire entry removed. Since I was never actually employed by that trucking.company. Hireright agreed and removed the US Xpress entry.
The point is, when dealing with Hireright you must be diligent and approach it as if you were a lawyer trying to exonerate a client. Hireright is not infallible so to be sure what they are reporting about you is accurate, you must stay on them.Toomanybikes and MiRig2017 Thank this. -
That is supposed to be what WE are for.

Boy wouldn't it be a great help to have information like: driver turn over rate. Or five star ratings
Drivers usually have no ideal what their stepping into with these trucking companies and they often end up with alot of job history on their records which is a big handy cap. ...
Trucking companies have a great advantage over the drivers by using this dac report system against drivers while they themselves keep all their dirty secrets hidden from the public and unsuspecting driversToomanybikes, Veteran driver, JimmyWells and 1 other person Thank this. -
I hope Donald Trump will do something about this DAC reporting. It's not accurate and it causes great harm on a trucker financially and on finding another job if its tarnished. It is not just the driver they are hurting, it is the entire families and children are involved a lot of times. They will have the burden of having to struggle too.

Along these same lines, if you own a home you need to know about something referred to as a Clue Report. This little gem is maintained by insurance companies. It "scores"your home based on insurance claims. Originally it was touted by consumer services as a way to alow prospective buyers to see what has happened over the life of a particular structure's life. What happens is something all together different. Insurance companies will raise rates or refuse to underwrite a home based on prior claims history. Here-in lies the kicker. For instance you have a series of problems all dutifully covered by you Home Owner's policy and you sigh a sigh of relief in that you did not have to pat 10k for that new roof. Fast forward a couple years and you make just a phone call to you agent about a tree limb that rubbed your siding and you decide to just eat that $1,200 repair. Because you inquired, it still negatively affects your Clue score.
When you place your home on the market for sale, Mr. prospective buyer checks with his insurance company and low and behold they tell him your property is a high risk property and they decline to underwrite. Ouch, now you don't have a deal. Pisser ain't it? -
And that ^^^ is what's known as a false equivalency. We're talking about the blatant misuse of credit/employment agencies ruining people's employment history by posting erroneous information on the transcripts.
We are not homes.
No comparison
