Words can't even express my rage. He did a blindside back right into me. The body shop said they can have me up and running in a day.

Any of you ever had to violate your 14 because the rcvr held you past your hos? I'm at americold in fort worth just 2.5 miles away from the yard. The streets here are full so it looks like I'll have to go to line 3 manually to dh those 2.5 miles.

Incidentally, yesterday I pulled in front of the fuel island on line 1, did what i had to do in the store. When i got out i had 1 minute left to complete a 30 break. The guy behind me wanted me to pull far enough forward for him to get out. I did so, pulling barely 100 feet ahead. My qc still showed that I was on line 1 and then showed that I completed my 30. I rolled out of there and 3 minutes later the logs rolled me back. Annoying and idiotic.

If you are empty then you can run line 5. Also if you pull forward you moved and it starts your clock but not shows it. I have found at the 30 mom mark I change the clock from off duty to sleeper and when I start driving it will start at the time I changed it so there's that.

Good trick to know. I still find the fact annoying especially since I sat on the lot another 20 minutes past my 30. To clarify I pulled forward 100 feet, stopped. My logs showed 30 complete and then I pulled around to a parking spot to eat. I then drove and it had backlogged me to the point where i had pulled forward taking 20 minutes drive time from me.

As far as line 5 goes i was told that line 5 is not allowed while under a trlr loaded or mt no exceptions.

The law states otherwise. I asked a DOT officer. As long as you are not moving a load coward you can run libe 5.
