I was just thinking at those rates for the points and the cost of the tickets you're almost better off hiring a secretary to right alongside you place your calls answer your calls cheaper that way

It's actually 392.82 (a) (1), the one I pictured is for hazmat. But it's the same, 10 points either way
-
30 points is nothing to worry about if one don't have and can't find another job.
DTP Thanks this. -
Hey I just heard the other day they need more rickshaw drivers in New York this summer
-
Joking joking I'm only joking hahahahaha blah hahahaha
-
I'd like to hear what people have done or are doing after the ticket was a done deal in court.
How has life and trucking worked out for them. And if they fought the ticket. What was the outcome.
I don't think anyone has stepped up and told their story yet. Other then they got a ticket. And that's the last they speak.Hoodoo Voodoo Thanks this. -
I just got a ticket for this. I won't mention the company it's one of the oldest and largest companys out there. I told them it was a lapse in judgement and It was stupid and I was really sorry. I didn't get fired I got placed on final warning. The dot officer was a douchebag he tricked me I thought he was on the opposite Northbound side which he was but got around the construction cones and then divider wall somehow. I haven't gone to court yet but I had a driver legal plan and they told me that most of them they get dismissed or occasionally they will get dropped to a non-moving violation tail light out Exedra. After an hour long conference call and 2 hours of video on "aggressive driving" and be having to fort over my deductible for the lawyer. I learned my lesson even though the law is Injustice BS and one sided!tucker Thanks this.

Yes, the law is so evil... I mean there is nothing wrong with one talking on a cell phone in a construction zone..
Smhcybill234, calnca, spyder7723 and 2 others Thank this. -
Let me guess the company - AT&T?
You know what happens if one of my drivers gets a cell phone ticket or a seat belt ticket - termination. It is right in the contract they sign. I don't see an excuse for it, not one bit of an excuse, there is no one anyone needs to talk to while driving, NO ONE. -
I still see and film truck drivers holding phones up to their heads while driving every day. What is interesting is when I film it and publish it, other truckers will come out of the woodwork to condemn me, hate on me, say that I am messing with other truckers' livelihoods. Umm wouldn't that be the driver themself who is using the phone illegally putting their own livelihood at risk?
calnca and gentleroger Thank this.
