Been there...Done that..Did not even get the t-shirt.....lol
-
Fret not, amigo, ------
the t-shirt isn't "perfect", and doesn't always fit.
In which case, it can be the "perfect" pain in the buttox
just tryin' to keep it tucked in.
I know.
When I worked for myself, I hated my
boss. He's a baaadd man ------->

That is common with every company from what I've seen
-
Yes they have the blue Cascadia's. I saw a couple rolling down the road, and there are a few up in New Kingstown.
Crete is a good company to work for, as long as there are no problems with the load, or the appointments.(in this industry, how often do things go as planned?) If there is a problem, God help ya'. When it comes to thinking on their feet, or thinking on the fly, they drop the ball more often then they get it right. (even a blind squirrel would find a nut more often then they get it right)
I mean no company is perfect. Every trucking company has issues with stuff like this, but it's how they handle the bumps in the road that makes it a good company or not. On a scale from 1 to 10 as how I rate Crete on handling problems. (1 is worse, 10 best) I give them a 3. Because the 1's are out of business, and the 2's are going bankrupt. -
Crete 3 ? Leave some room for Swift,Knight US Xpress. and I know those three wont fold anytime soon. I give Crete (compared to others) 8.

I am in school now to obtain my CDL. I am considering Crete. Thanks for the positive input.

make sure your school is PTDI Certified, and do well in your classes. I think you have to be at least 95% to qualify at Crete as a student. I did it and am on my own for around a month. Really had a good experience w/ training and so far on my own.

Would like to get some info from Drivers working in Crete's Western Division. I live in Phoenix, and want to hear the good and bad about this part of the operation. I have two very good friends who are with Crete's National Division, and they have plenty of good to say, but what about the drivers who stay out west? How many miles, Length of haul? How much time spendt loading and unloading per week? Any predominant shippers and lanes in the Western Disvision? Inquiring minds want to know! Thanks

I'm beginning my third week of training at Crete, out of the Knoxville terminal. I've been very impressed by Crete, and couldn't be happier with my trainer. They are making every effort to develope me into a safe, professional driver.
