That was my plan back when I was doing a lease purchase here. Got a letter from WalMart thanking me for applying, but that they had no openings.

Then, I gave Schneider their truck back, financed a new truck, and 6 months later.......

I get a postcard from Walmart wanting me to come in for an interview.

I almost cried.....

 

You still with Schneider or ....?

 

Yeah, still here. I'm on year #4 now

 

My lease is up march 31 so if things fall in place ill be starting orientation first week or 2 of April. Good luck to you if you continue to put up with Schneider for the long run.

 

I think the main reason they pushed it back is because they figure most will upgrade to a newer truck within the next 5 years.

 

Choice want be around in 5 yrs. I'll give it 3 years.

 

Plenty have pulled the trigger and left. Oh well. Darn. It's nice not thinking about the load board every waking moment.

 

Fear of lawsuits they couldn't win and a massive negative effect on the IPO.
