So first a thanks to Chinatown for help on some of the companies.
I have offers from all the big mega carriers US xpress, Stevens, Schneider and Werner. Real short I had some companies that I called but obviously they allowed me to apply but need at least 3mo. experience or more, probable cause most were tanker jobs. So as a new driver I have narrowed down to 5 companies with one leading the pack, but thought I would see opinions on them form you. I think for the most part the list is made of decent or good companies for a newbie.
    The 5 are:
Melton Flatbed, out 3wks offering .43cpm plus tarp pay.
Prime Tanker, NE out 2-3wks offering .51cpm
    CFI, out 2-3wks offering .33cpm
HO Wolding Regional run, out 8 days offering .32cpm (company running for 5mins from my house)
Eastern Freightways Flatbed, out 6 days offering .48cpm plus tarp pay. (most miles in my state but has NYC runs)

If any other companies offers come in that I like I'll update on them.

I am not sure why recruiters love to push cpm as the most important. What good is .51 cpm if the average is 120 miles a day? When I created my list, 1st year miles was first, equipment was second, followed by cpm.

I do have the average miles for all companies that I have talked with.
    Prime 1800
The others fall into a 2200-2500 range.
I also have equipment, training weeks, orientation pay, csa reports, turn over % and more

1800 miles a week and you are out 2-3 weeks??? Holy #### that's a lot of sitting. 250ish miles a day? I'd fn shoot myself. That's crazy

So, take the average miles the recruiter tells you, and subtract by about 400. Seems to be the norm.

Eastern Freightways is top choice followed by HO Wolding. Both have positives I like and have talked with both companies a lot.
