@thaistick now that you've been with Mercer for over a month--how's it going? Are you doing fb or van?
-
I hope not, I'd hate to see you go. That's like the equivalent of if the Raiders had traded Howie Long to the Chiefs or something.
Yeah, I guess so. I don't mind the layout so much, just going to take some getting used to. I like the old way better, but I'm just used to it now. I think they have most of the bugs worked out on my phone, and there are some things I like about the new load board better, like the pop-up menu for cities is better than the old board, but I don't like the color layout. The gray was better, the new one almost hurts my eyes.CJndaTruck Thanks this. -
He's currently pulling a van.Chickadee Thanks this.

When to use your dump on the rear axle? Run curtain 48 ft for years but never a spread. ThanS in Advance Kevin
RStewart Thanks this. -
Anytime you're turning sharper than a curve, forward & reverse I believe. At least that's what I would do. Experts will be along shortly.Last edited: Apr 9, 2017

While no expert, i use mine at every turn and every time i gotta back up. Half the time i forget to flip the switch back. That's no problem cause if it's a relatively new trailer it is wired through the abs so once you get above 10mph it bypasses the switch and inflates the bags back up.RStewart Thanks this.

Ok dumb question in respect to dumping the rear axle--do you have a switch on your dash to do that or is it a toggle switch on the trailer near the driver's side toolbox because that could be a major pain in the rear to dump the air if you have to run back and forth to the trailer if you dump it "at every turn and every time I gotta back up." I'm sure I'm totally understanding wrong. Thanks for helping me to understand!
(We're gonna be watching some safety videos today

Nevermind lol I just asked my husband and he said he has a switch on the dash to do that and also explained to me why and when.

Ok, yet another tablet/elog question. Lol. If I'm using a tablet for my logs & while I'm driving my wife starts using the tablet to watch Netflix or look at he load board, is it going to effect my logs? I wouldn't think it would but I'm not sure.
