And who gets the proxy vote? Does one person get them all or does each board member get some? Do the swift board members get the swift proxy votes? Who decides who gets what. And from what i read looks like Jerry will still be running things as senior advisor to both companies presidents

 

I hope that is the way it'll work.

It will state when the annual meeting is, who is running, and who gets to the proxy vote if you choose to vote by proxy. Rarely does a Board change, and it is tough to oust someone on the Board if you are a Shareholder. You can nominate yourself, but you have to hope the Nomination Committee approves it, if they don't, which is what usually happens, you won't even show up on the ballot. This is why people complain it is rigged. The only way you have a chance is to get a list of shareholders, then plead why so and so needs to be replaced, and supply a form they sign allowing you to vote proxy for them. No its not confusing at all. For all intents and purposes Knight basically acquired Swift and the reason why the swift shareholders own more stocks is because Swift had more stocks then Knight.

Let's face it Swift was poorly run, for as big as the company is( swift) it should be doing a better profit then what it's doing.

 

Those folks aren't forced to work for low wages. They choose to. That isn't swift or knights fault.

 

sure they "choose" to , with the help of huge marketing teams.

 

A quick google shows those marketing teams are full of it. I have no pity. If anything i feel they are over paid.

 

They have announced a name change for both companies. The new name will be KNIF-T and will be pronounced nifty.
