Def fluid. Where to buy?

It's all pretty much the same... Nearly every truck stop carries it in bulk

 

most of the truckstops have def at the pumps and have def jugs inside the store. ive seen def jugs at walmart, might be cheaper at walmart.

 

I still can't believe we have exhaust fluid.. I have been looking for it next to the muffler bearings and blinker fluid this whole time....

 

Just buy it from the pump, always the cheapest way, from what I have seen. It is all the same. Don't let it get too low! And do your scheduled maintenance for def fluid filter and doser. The intervals are quite long so it isn't that bad a deal.

 

I get a 1,000 litre tote (275 gal) about every four months, cheaper than the pump by 35% here in Canada

That's the way to go if you are through the tote often enough.. sort of difficult for irregular route driving. I am paying .699 in Toronto and .799 for most of the rest of the country. Gotta watch some places jack it up .859 and even .999 some spots. Tank lasts me about 3200 km.

 

Volvo has special DEF fluid. Usually has adidas logo on it and will be next to flip flops section at local truck stop
