Was there once, no on street parking but there's a small truck stop about 2.5 miles north on US 75. You have to pay I think it was 10 bucks for overnight parking.

The only reason I would be for ratings is if you are referring to customer, so a quick reference for if it's going to be a pain or not. Idk it wouldn't be necessary of course just my opinion.. I really like the idea of intigrating Google account. I think it would almost be necessary. I see there being a potential problem with people playing around and putting misinformation up. So that way you have some way of knowing who said what and if others see a trend, a report feature, to boot said person out. Also a deterrent for the person doing it so they don't get shunned. Lol.
Obviously being picky with what I feel a much needed app that you are taking care of on your own accord. So thank you and I'll be happy with whatever you come up with!!mattbh23 Thanks this. -
I just dislike ratings. What's the difference between a 4 and 5 star? What rating am I gonna give if I'm having a bad day vs good day? But I do see your point.
The account thing really depends on time and cost. We might just have to stick with the bare bones and then if it becomes an issue then I'll just have to deal with it at the time. Or Google account integration may not even be significant.
The first version isn't gonna have ratings. But the intention is just to have something functional to work with. Then we can all decide what's awesome and what sucks and go from there.Rattlesnake Jake Thanks this. -
My last 2 loads for them were a partial rejection and a complete rejection, which I had to return. I wonder if their customer base is falling apart.

Lol, to say hey have operational challenges would be the understatement of understatements...yeah I'm sure some of their customers are getting tired of dealing with them. I hope they do improve, we count on them for a lot of load commitments out of MN...
With respect to your app, here are some of my top requests
1) Searchable by customer, city and state
2) Share not only onsite parking, but tick amenities i.e. restrooms, truckstops within 10 miles etc
3) Updateable, show the most recent update date
4) An indication of wether they will load/unload you early
Just a few thoughts... -
I want Ashley back!

All great ideas. I want to really emphasize loading/unloading early. In my mind, there are 3 major categories:
1. Strict appointment time
2. Show up up to x hours early or show up as soon as S/R opens
3. Earlier you show up, earlier you are served.
Also parking is a big one. Specifically near customers. Do they have overnight parking? Is there only temporary staging? Is there anything within 10 miles? If not, what's closest? I envision searching for a customer, then it brings up the customer marked on the map along with parking options in the area in a different color or different icon. All information input by us.
I think these tidbits will help everyone the most. So this will basically be in the first version. I'd like that part working asap... whenever that is.mattbh23 Thanks this.
