Thanks, I called today to get a price sheet and get a little more information but the guy I deal with at Mercer wasn't in today. I'm looking to get a Enclosed rack does anyone know if they stock them or just the open ones?

They do have enclosed racks as long as they aren't sold out. I guy I was in orientation with got all his stuff through Mercer & he got an enclosed rack. He put 50% of the total cost down. The enclosed rack was too big for his wheelbase do they traded him out for just a plain headboard with no chain hangers. The difference in price of the two racks paid off his remaining balance he owed.HalpinUout Thanks this.

I once talked to my pay girl about that. Her answer was, sometimes when paper work comes in late Friday and doesn't get paid, then comes Monday morning and paper work starts coming in.
She said sometimes the Monday morning paperwork gets thrown on top of the left over Friday stuff.
She apologized and cut the check. Sounds like the same type of thing, unless it was an oddball customer.TruckerPete1990 and RStewart Thank this. -
I wish we had an RGN LOL. There is a nearly $9000 load from lakeland, FL to Edmonton, AB!

Man I take some time off and you all get chatty.
Yes they have enclosed racks. They get a bit pricy, I think the main enclosed that is usually in stock runs $2400-2800 as I recall. Or was that $1800? Gee now I don't remember.HalpinUout Thanks this. -
Don't let the dollar amount fool you. Depending on weight/size that might not be a real good deal.Chickadee, mtoo, spyder7723 and 1 other person Thank this.

LOL, Ya I was going to hold out until I finished orientation to spill the beans but Oh well. Its easier to get questions answered here versus calling Mercer every time I think of something.
That standard 3 door enclosed online are around $1800 and then if you want the stainless steel doors its up around $2700. So I'm guessing Mercers prices are within $100 of online
I was just inquiring because I think it will be easier to buy it onsite there and get it installed right away versus having it shipped here and having to mess with it. -
That sounds better. Pretty sure I was thinking of an awesome one from the truck show that was that high. Anyway, I would get it at Mercer, George will use the forklift to putt it on the truck and half a dozen guys will be willing to help bolt in down.Airborne, 1951 ford, RStewart and 1 other person Thank this.

Yep. Seen that in person.CJndaTruck, 1951 ford and RStewart Thank this.
