Yep, first mistake was buying a Volvo. My 2013 780 needs a radiator, yes I'm sure, I saw the bubbles at the neck of the top drivers side hose neck. I was hoping someone would tell me the amount of hours they were billed to Replace their Volvo 780 radiator. Thanks.

IF you want to know, call volvo and ask them, they've got a program that tells you everything like that.

Most likely 4 hours with help, 6 without.

One thing Volvo does different is the radiator and charged air cooler are bolted together as one piece. When I had mine replaced at Volvo they have to pull both out. So that add to the labor time.

Have your rad. pressure tested with it at op. temp, bubbles can be coming from heater air valves or a bad head gasket or pitted cil. liners, but changing the rad. before finding the problem can cost extra cash?

baha has good advice. I have a '14 Volvo 780 and anything such requiring work on the motor or cooling system I take to my local dealer for a estimate first. I usually have the estimate at the end of the day if the truck goes in first thing in the morning. So far the estimates have been dead on or the actual work is less than the estimate. Let Volvo examine and diagnose the problem as it may not be your radiator, but some other component about to fail.

You can fix that exact leak!

Drain coolant down, clean well with brake parts cleaner then rough with sandpaper.

Clean again with brake parts cleaner and allow to dry.
Apply plastic epoxy liberally and allow to harden....

My friend just fixed this exact same problem...
