Would take more then 3 straps with 2 chains. Mercer chains are 6600lbs

    2 chains 4 binders at corners =26400 + 3 straps 15000 = 41400. would that not be correct?

True I haven't tried 2 binders on 1 chain yet lol. Can I hook the binder on the rub rail to do this. It confuses me a little.

Used to do it all the time. 1 chain equals two chains in that configuration. Makes it easier.

Ok, I will open the can of worms. From the corner of the container to the trailer is that not a direct securement?

Yes. Which is why i just do 1 chain 1 binder on each end. Then straps over the middle.

Ok, so being a direct tiedown the rating is half of the working load limit of the securement correct?
