Anyone who said they couldn't find that break is full of it, or a complete and totally incompetent fool. But given the course this profession has taken the last decade, I may be expecting too much.
-
I suppose that driver will care about it on his next inspection.
48Packard Thanks this. -
a tanker passed me last night with a bad exhaust stench, could feel in my eyes, backed off a mile so to get rid of it.

That break in the picture is likely a secondary result of primary break further towards the engine and in a more problematic area for cab occupants.
But I have another question. WTH is up with the one chain wrapped up all by itself?Grubby, scottied67, EZ Money and 3 others Thank this. -

I believe it is legal at the back of the cab. Now if the separation was on a side stack, then yes it would be a violation for sure as the exhaust may enter the cab. Still, it is a cheap easy fix, better to spend the money and time to fix it before it gets into $1000+ territory.
dca Thanks this. -
Not legal as the stack runs up. This is a valid break in tbe system and it needs to be fixed
-
hmm maybe he thinks or someone believes it is legal, but still, why the bs?

I CANNOT HEAR YOU OVER THE ROAR. CAN YOU SCREECH THAT at a HIGHER pitch please?
