So they can laugh at "that dumb hick who only holds a steering wheel for a living because they're too stupid to do anything else"?

Sorry, forgive the cynic in me. It's a little persistent sometimes.

Man! Time for a coke and peanuts!! Lol!

Honestly? NO!
Teenagers are just kids that are a bit larger.
Man you need to take some time off and relax a little! Who cares if one or two are being jerks? I always figure it is THEIR problem, rather than mine. -
Reason I said that is having been mocked as a kid for expressing an interest in this job back in high school. I knew then I would like it.
But you know the ones seeking their Starbucks drinking Mercedes driving yuppy technoweenie jobs have to add their two cents.
Time off? What's that?
Oh, that's right. That's when I come back to work after a vacation and find 7 returns on the truck plus a broken liftgate that nobody got fixed.
Frankly, I'm afraid to take time off.

Sure...
But I won't lay on it.... , just a couple quick toots will do the trick for the kids .... Teenagers are different they should be over this cheap thrill by that age, so they just get a smile and a thought about how if my kids didn't have anything better to do
... It's time to get my foot up their butts and put em to work, but my babies know already ... I won't tolerate standing around idle -
When I'm driving my big truck and little wave at me and want me to blow my horn. Well, heck ya. They are happy when I lay my horn. BTW I drive a Kenworth probably a 2006 I think.
crb Thanks this. -
When I was a kid, getting a trucker to hit the air horns was a huge coup for my sister and I. This meant that an adult was actually doing something because we wanted it. We may have been unsuccessful a couple of times, but that was usually by guys that were rollin way north of the double nickel. Just a short blip was all it took to make our day and once in a while a driver would really lay on it hard and we just KNEW he was having fun too.Big Don, Panhandle flash and fargonaz Thank this.

I do it all the time but as another gentleman noted above I guess it can be a safety hazard to the parent driving the vehicle as they may not be aware of what the children are attempting yoto haveu do.KillingTime Thanks this.

I'll give em a toot. Not too often depending on situation.
What they really want is the train horn installation. Those sad company horns aint got it for them anymore.crb Thanks this.
