Anyone sign on with schnieder as a recent grad? Was wondering how their mentor program is? How many hours before upgrade etc. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Trained through Indy terminal a while ago and I thought it was really well done. One week in their yard/road. One week with trainer. One week in classroom, sucks but whatever. After completion spent three "shifts" with a mentor and that helped to see a pro do the job. First shift was typical, long run, he drove up and I drove back. Second day, I get a call "can you run a load solo", sure. Snow storm. Third day long run, swung through Indy and got my truck there, mentor went on his ten.
No regrets.
Good luck!

I might be going with them too.
Do they train with a refresher? -
You're bumping a really old thread. Schneider offers a refresher through a third party.

6 months old aint too bad.I know they have a refresher but wondering if theyll set me up with a trainer too.ill call a recruiter.1029384746 Thanks this.

If you need a refresher you'll probably be doing the same 3 week orientation that I did. 1 week of that is live training, all dispatched as solo loads.Rocknroller4 and Jmans Thank this.

@wellshii
Schneider does offer refresher course and its shorter as well. I just started with them a few weeks ago and have liked everything so far. They have good trainers. I had an awesome recruiter and he answered all my questions promptly. Always calling on time and giving all the information I need. Was very prompt in getting me my refund on my fingerprinting and other expenses. I will send in more info via pm later when I get a chance. -
I'll take some more info!!

Well.. my experience from the day when I wrote that message and today has changed completely. I am not with them anymore. There are some things which won't be the same as told to you until they actually hand over the truck to you and thats when you find the truth. I am not going to bash a company here, but I'd say you'd be better off going with someone else.Rocknroller4 Thanks this.
