I had to go in to see the guy with my paperwork to get reworked. There's a door by the docks if you're at the docks across from where the drop trailers are.

I see nothing has changed in balwinsville or Newark since l ran out of there in the early eightys.
Back then they would get in to it with management and then go in to what they called a work slow down.
The fork operator would barely make the wheels on the fork lift move.
We were required to stand at the back of the trailer and put the dunage in as they loaded.
My worst day in baldwinsville it took standing at the back of trailer for eight hours to load it.
I got to say it was one of my most painful trucking experiences that I have ever had in my 30 + years as a driver.
And I was a trip lease owner operator at that time so there was no extra pay.

The one reset in 6 days rule is gone for good. 34 hour reset and you're fresh on hours for the next week.

My soon-to-be former company recently quit running their loads, was a dedicated deal for years running them from STL out to Colorado. If they won't even put up with it that's saying something lol

The one plant I go to strictly alone is Anhauser Busch of Williamsburg Ky. Coils are loaded previous evening in central KY never late on delivery and empty within the hour. If I had to get into being yelled at for anythingit's the company speed limit on the yard. I once put her in granny idle and hopped out to take a walk next to it with the door open. That got em going. I was being snarky that morning.

It happened to be my last morning there too. What a shame. Those tightwads need a little play time. I know the Colonials don't get out much but jeez...

To be honest it's almost not even worth the headache to go and pull these types of loads unless they're going to pay high rates because given the weight which is usually maximum weight or overweight you got to spend half your day at the very least at the shipper and then you burn fuel at maximum frequency especially if you're headed somewhere with Crazy Hills
