    Thanks for all the well wishes. On a side note, ever wonder how long a set of triples is vs a Rocky mountain set? I happened to find two parked next to each other at the dock.

    Gotta love LTL! Clock in at 0915. Didn't get my trailer with 12 deliveries until 1030. Stops are routed like ####, lot of backtracking wasting time. Did a pickup after delivery number 8. Then I get a message to come back after I am done to pickup another delivery. Then a pickup that closes at 1600 pops up on my screen. I am taking my lunch break now,not later. Just tired of the stupid games.

    Helping out today not much to report, we got done pretty easy, tomorrow isn't looking like a terrible day either and then boom it is Friday again horray!

    It's almost 8 PM. Just finished my final pickup and I am just taking lunch. All three of my trailers are overfilled. I had to leave my tools at a customer. I am going to be grossing close to 112,000 lbs. That'll put me 6,000 lbs over.

    The thing that pisses me off the most is that we did have a second driver. They send him home at 3 with an empty 48 ft trailer. I won't even clock out till 10 PM.

    I'd have been fit to be tied about that one too.

    No way I'd leave my equipment at a customer though. Someone should have thought of that before making the incredibly ridiculous decision of having someone go back empty.

    Sounds like my day, which turned out to be worse than yesterday.

    Punched in at 8:00, sat until 9:00 waiting for the little pile of crap for some apartment complex that never showed up anyway. They reversed the run for Sysco, so I didn't get there until 12. So that, plus one more down that way and a humongous solar energy farm under construction that is yet another time consuming PITA, by 2:00 I only had 3 deliveries off. Wound up bringing 3 back AND missing 3 pickups, 2 of which were from yesterday. :banghead:

    Your company isn't doing things correctly CF management from the 1980s would have never put up with that, they would have fired everyone in management and started all over again for making such bogus moves.

    That's silly if I was in charge I would have had him head up to where you are and alleviate some of that volume. Nobody would be going home especially if we were lucky enough to have a spare 48' on the road, I'd have that thing filled to the brim, we would be utilizing everything we got especially if we are just running on fumes.
