Sorry don't know how to delete my oops above. Old thread but I agree. Avoid TWiT. When I left them in 2015 they owed me over $2000. In late fees, layovers, lumper reimbursements, and unpaid loads. Went to their head guy right before I left and 2 months later I finally got a little over $1700. I was threatened if I didn't run loads despite not having sleep due to truck/trailer repairs or threatened when I had to get the trailer repaired and it wasn't fast enough for them so the load was going to be late. Boy, they hated that. It's just not worth it. After spending my last month sitting in Cheney waiting for a load I left for better pay.

Wouldn't this statement apply to most trucking companies? What makes TWT stand out? I almost went there but they wanted my wife to train with someone else for 8 weeks. Watkins/Shepard just handed us the keys after a 2 week orientation with no training BS.

I know this is old....and this guy most likely will not be back. But I can't help commenting on one thing here in hopes (yah, right) that others joining TTR just to "warn people" of a bad company, will eventually start to give the details needed to INFORM perspective employee's with any company, not to go there.
@Drive4 eventually got SO lazy, that he actually recommend others go drive for TWT so THEY can come back here and tell the story that he was too lazy to tell. Remarkable!
People; just tell your story. Stop with the non-informative 'one liners'...it helps zero people, and wastes bandwidth and time.

Twt has several divisions. Dry bulk, liquid tanker etc. So, which one?

Tidewater?

Not sure why my previous reply isn't showing up but I'll try again. Must be the phone I'm using. TWT does not have divisions. TWT is a division of Systems. Systems is the flat bed division and the"parent" company, JJW is the tanker division (including dry bulk, liquid, and chemical), and TWT is the refer division.Last edited: Jul 26, 2017
