I went ahead and ordered the new one, $720. I sent off the faulty one, and waited till they had it on the bench opened up to see - before I installed and fired up the new one.
They'll fiddle about and see if it's fixable, otherwise junk it and move on.
The journey begins - purchased a truck.

This manufacturer -
Using this filter number -
In this enclosure -
Using this mounting -
Is preventing me from installing Fleet Air filters.
The Baldwin filter is an enclosed, 1 piece, aluminum housed filter that Fleet Air doesn't have a replacement for.
What I need, is 13" round Vortox canisters, with the bolt up from the bottom - and more importantly, the filter number so I can cross-reference with Fleet Air before buying/installing.Last edited: Oct 4, 2017
