What's up guys, 1st post here so forgive if it's messed up somewhere. Currently with maverick, interested in their l/p program. Anyone have any info? I know I could probably call but wanted to see what was out there. I rarely see and or have time to chat with the IC drivers here. Thanks

Three general rules for lease purchase:

    1) You want to buy your truck from someone other than the company you pull for.
    2) Get a self-dispatch percentage pay gig.
    3) Zero down is a bad deal.

I'm aware of the different ways to buying a truck, just wanted more info. And yes we have l/p here, they don't push it or even mention it during orientation. Spots open occasionally.

There's a waiting list to get in ic. You need to be a company driver for a year just to get on the list. Last I heard the waiting list was 2 years long.

You can sign up now and wait

Please be careful with these least to purchase programs (Especially if you know you are not great at money management). I know it sounds all fine and dandy on paper but it works very differently in the real world. Many companies now offer L/P programs with very fine print. Not saying they are all bad, but be very careful about what youre signing!

If like what you are getting on they are good to you then go for it, there must be something good about them, if they are not pushing it like most do, I would for it only thing I would say make sure you go over the paperwork careful good luck with them keep us posted
