Darryl, I truly believe your first statement! Leaving JCT was an extremely difficult decision personally. When I arrived there were barely 300 trucks in the fleet and in the 8 plus years I came to look upon JCT as a family and business partner. Glad to see the market is working in the LO's favor and some of these changes are taking place. I can speak only for myself when I say that leaving was a gamble that has payed off. However, the increased profit and revenue comes with an increase risk and stress, and every time I hit upon a stumbling block I am reminded that if I was at JCT the stumble would not have been as intense!
For any drivers that are reading this thread trying to decide if JCT is a good fit for you. IMHO they can be a great fit for anybody living in their primary running areas with a strong self directed work ethic and CAN Do spirit. So if you are looking to delve into the OO arena they are a great partnership. That is not to say they are perfect, nor are you! When you think you have found A Perfect Trucking company your screaming meanie (alarm clock) will give you a rude awakening. This is trucking things will go wrong no matter what company you align yourself with!

CannonballAA and Kamkor Thank this. -
If they had parking it would be perfect. I have seen drivers play "make a spot" but I'm not sure how long until they get bugged.
-
They have 3 spots on outer edge of the lot. I stayed there a few times.
-
Winslow or Holbrook? I've stayed at the Winslow one across from Walmart. Not the Holbrook one.
-
You know I might be thinking about Winslow. The one across from Walmart . There was an old truck stop that trucks still park at to go Walmart.

Jct while I don't agree with what you are all paid it does seem they pay ifta, plates, hvhut, and such and you do have long hauls it would grab so many drivers if they offered 50/50. I know they are getting minimum spot market prices. Give the workers half. Or either let them use you're authority to book freight on their own./For 50/50 at least.
