ELD mandate changed?

    I have a buddy who was told a couple days ago by a truck inspection mechanic that they changed the exemption for eld's now includes trucks 2005 and older... anybody else hear anything like that?

    There's a possible change but it has to do with truckers can decide when to take their brake.But that's not set in stone FMCSA is considering it.I posted an article a while back on this subject.
