Was traveling south on I-95/495 around DC, around the 173 (just before 95 and 495 split) there was, what appeared to be, another crash involving a truck parked on the shoulder. I say appeared because I only drove by after the fact. A car was mostly under the back of a truck, and both were on the shoulder behind fire trucks and various other emergency vehicles, and I didn't see any scrape/skid marks like the crash happened in the road, and the truck pulled over. The majority of the front of the car as well as the passenger area of the car (from the steering wheel to the right side door) was completely under the truck, and the reason I say probable fatality is because the drivers side of the car was covered by a canvas or tarp. Unfortunately, my dash cam/phone is out of service, but there was a news van parked on the opposite side of the interstate, so there will be more detailed reporting available. Not the way you want to start Thanksgiving, for either of them.

I told a Knight lease driver that was just stopping on the shoulder that there was a big Flying J right up the road, he replied that he wasn’t going to stop at a truck stop when he only needed to stop for 2 minutes.
