K&B Transportation: I Should Have Known Better

Just run into their main office wearing nothing but your boxers and exclaim "I'm going to start spreading flatulence all over the office until I get my stuff!".

 

I worked for K and B. I hated it there. I also tried to quit and then was given a 5 cpm raise. I had a dispatcher who tried to micro manage me. He called during my break so I put myself on duty which re started my clock so I could not drive. He was pissed but I was correct so I won that round. I received qualcomm messages asking me to creep down the road as to move my trailer without setting off the auto logs. I would respond saying, Okay, you want me to violate the HOS regs. Okay, I just hope I don't get hurt while doing so. But I bet I will.

All that stopped. I finally got fired for telling a joke.

Now I have my own small company. K and B is not the end of the world. It is just a place to drop a load and move on.

 

When I was fired by K and B, I had just stopped by the house and restocked my truck. I got to the office late on a Friday night. There was another guy there who had been fired as well. They did not offer a way home. So I called my wife in Kansas City and had her come up and pick the two of us up. (Now all the women on this site that I flirt with please ignore the married part.) The other drivers son drove from Oklahoma City to Kansas City and picked him up there. Because we worked for K and B we were experts at relays.

While I worked there, they were by far and away my least favorite company to work for. Having said that, I did cash their checks each week.

 

Can u share that joke with us or at least the PG version of it?

 

Okay. Here is the joke and I do not disagree with K and B for firing me. What should be known is that after I told Tyson what happened, three folks there lost their jobs also.


I was at the Guard shack in Olathe. One woman and two young males. They were grabbing her in places that would have made Harvey Winestein proud. She was laughing it all off and giving as good as she got. So, I said to her, If you want to sue them for sexual harassment I will testify for you in exchange for a Bill Clinton special.

After I left they complained to Tyson who called K and B. I was fired.

 

I thought you got fired for making that crybaby ### video whining that you’re tired when you’re YouTube handle was runhardgetpaid which the irony alone between your handle and the video itself provided many laughs lol

 

Live and learn? He will be lucky to ever get another job. If you really hate a job in trucking, all you do is bite your tongue, wait until you get routed through their terminal and then you clean your truck out, quit, and take a bus home. You DON'T steal the truck and start driving home. This guy went into it KNOWING their bad rep, and then was somehow shocked by it! I was reading his well-written post, and it seemed legitimate, and then suddenly I read that he is stealing the truck! I can tell you right now, I would NEVER hire someone who did that!
