I drive for a recycling company, and we get similar directions all the time when we need to pick up cars from a location. First question that is asked, "is there room to turn around a semi" and the answer is always yes... Funny, everyone always assumes by semi, you mean a standard rollback, not a 48' log trailer(think disaster relief setup)

The best is when someone has a large amount of cars to be picked up, and I have to meet a loader truck out there with my usual OTR truck with a scrap wagon...
Picture a 250" wb truck, with a 48' spread axle, or 50' with the tridems in the very back trying to turn around in soft fields, or driving 1 mile into the woods on a 1 lane dirt road, only to have to back out, turn around, and then back in..
There has also been many times when I have had to use the spread to "bridge" over a ditch, in order to make a turn into a driveway.

I know that road in Hershey! lol I just got to pass my on the road test for Swift on there. Our instructor directed us around there and around Lebanon, PA for practice on corners. Fun times, let me tell ya. Look out for that bridge at the top too. Yikes!

I allways ask if a eighteen wheeler can make the turns they are telling to take.

And allways ask to talk with the shipping/recieving person.
