Rand McNally ELD 50 questions

if connection is lost to the device the ELD-50 will buffer or hold data till the device that is it connected to is seen again by the ELD-50. Why it changed to on duty going through a tunnel I don't know. I am waiting on word back from Rand.

 

I just logged in and it's correct on the portal. But it's still showing CST on my device????

 

When you set up account did you put in right time zone?

 

My portal now shows EST under my name and terminal.

And my android device shows EST under my terminal BUT my logs are still CST- one hour behind EST....

RM phones have been ringing busy all day.

My cousin got RM50 and was trying to set it up on his truck. When it asked for DOT number he typed it in and it said DOT number already exists.
How does he add his truck to company?

 

Has he leased onto a carrier already?

This went on all day yesterday. The device (android tablet) froze. The last half of the day (driver connected to WIFI at customers location , mid-day), the drivers E-log showed nothing but On-Duty (not driving) for remainder of the day.

Both trucks running RM ELD50 are having issues.
