Cat fuel filter outside the frame rail. Wool sock, plastic bag and duct tape. Might not do anything but I feel better.....

P.S. Power Service products are sold out everyplace around here...... I got a stash tho .

Yup. Took stops on 8 places along 250 miles of I-80 in PA/Ohio before I found a place that had it working at some of their pumps.

We had a driver fill up in Grand Forks, ND at the Flying J before crossing back over the week before Christmas. He came back after Christmas to a couple tanks of jello.

We use Power Service Antigel with the cetane booster (white bottle) if we can't get access to Canadian fuel or the temps are going below -20°C. We know not to trust fuel heaters with #2.

Cat,i have started my truck with one off my cars (small car, very small) when one off my batteries died.
High idle whatever you use to give you a jump.
    Worst case,get a second car.
Just be carefull how you hook up the jump leads.

we use power service (white bottle in the winter and silver in the summer) in all the diesels at work, pickups, big trucks, skid steers...never had any problems.

Last winter, the RD was parked at a job for about a month in the winter. They wouldn't let me drop a bin anywhere, it had to be on wheels (had to be in a loading dock to access the roof, and the shunt drivers could move it if need be), and we still had the GU for daily service, so the RD lost. More than once it would sit 5 or more days between starts, and I drove to site in a one ton gasser GMC that succefully boosted it....it took awhile to juice up the Mack off the GMC, but it worked. And I had somewhere warm to wait :)

It's a pain in the ###, but you can buy 2 gallon containers of DEF in most truck stops. If the stuff inside the truck stop gels up, there's a real problem.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.
