Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

DOT officers at the scales need to lighten up.
-
Appointment times go bye bye.
You deliver in the morning before 10 and load anytime after 2. WHEN YOU GET THERE.
A loose fit to that whole silly appt time BS would be the drivers protection of his HOS. When driver is OUT of HOURS at shipper or customer whatever the load situation, that is THAT. Trains do not move a inch until a rested and crew with lawful hours are delivered to it. Should we begin to do the same thing?
I have this problem with appt times all of my life in trucking. Im told to be somewhere at such a date and time no ifs buts and maybes.
Sorry boss no one asked me, it will get there when it gets there.
Yer fired. And so it was. Im not some 90 day wonder to be abused. But evidently my professionalism has no value.ReeferRick and Derailed Thank this. -
I wouldn't let ta buy Petro and i would still be eating 9.99 hand cut steaks

Complete removal of DOT. Just like every other Federal agency, they've grown oppressive.

No more EPA mandated trucks. And fix the HOS to allow the stopping of the clock. I know, just one, but I had two.

jamespmack, PoleCrusher, Bad Monkey and 4 others Thank this. -
Drivers that actually take pride in their appearance and work.
Getting rid of the EPA and FMCSA would be easier.PoleCrusher, Bad Monkey, fordconvert and 4 others Thank this. -
Make it illegal for shippers & receivers to make appointment times they cant keep. Otherwise $75 per hr for the truck & $25 per hr for the driver.... law.
If drivers have to go by FMCSA rules, so should shippers, receivers & law enforcement.
i.e., if a driver is out of hours, he/she cant be ordered anything that would violate those rules.xsetra, DieselDrivinDaddy and ReeferRick Thank this.
