Ok so that's why I haven't passed you yet. I've been anxious to pass the one finger salute! I'm up on I-90. Smooth sailing today for me. Stopped at pilot just east of Missoula. I hope I don't wake up to nasty snow! I only have 6.5 hours to work with tomorrow and I have to use it all by 1300. Then I book it at midnight to my 1100 Jamestown appt. Shouldn't be too bad as long as the weather holds up.

 

You have no chains? I will never understand why drivers don't chain up, yes, it's 1-1.5 hrs work to chain up and take them off again.
I'd rather chain up than sitting a day waiting for the the chain law lifts up.
And who ever will tell me it's too dangerous to drive if there's chain law, as soon as you have the chains on, you can drive, better than without chains.
But that's me...

But sitting all day?
I've chained up so often and never was sitting a day, because I'm not lazy. I prefer to make miles and money
We have some drivers in our company that are not chaining, but I think it's part of the job. We are not forced to chain.
Don't want to lose $ 300 bucks a day because I don't want to chain up.

 

They are lovely, clean and in their bags as they will hopefully always be. Safety prefers we don’t chain and so do I.

Now if you give me a nice RGN with something to be chained then we’re talking...made it through when the pass opened and should be good to deliver on time.

 

BTW I’m definitely not lazy and I am smart enough to realize I’m making the same money, if I could make more then maybe I’d chain, but I can’t so I don’t.

Sitting here at Linneage in Fort Worth...picked up up there in Waseca the other day. Booked on a run to Denver after I deliver.

 

Cool heading to Fargo after a loop from Denver to Portland to Jamestown myself. Getting the full monty on my truck and then heading to Houston...

 

So this could become our new truck, will likely become the next trainer truck...thoughts?
