I hope he gets his questions answered cause I won't give him anymore answers. He'll be in this thread before long complaining about how Mercer sucks & you can't make money here & anyone claiming to make money is lying. It's all good though.

Thanks for the food. My troll belly is all filled up. I will make sure to stick around Mercer a long time, just because I like proving people wrong.

 

I always told people I was working with on a project " if you can't tie a knot then tie a lot" I would freek them out using a rope to pull hundreds of feet of cable in conduit using only a black wall hitch. No knot at all.

Many may not realize this, but such things as problems with customers, talking inappropriately with coordinators, office people etc. Are made note of.

And the same is done when you handle bad situations well , work thru problems etc , and when customers send in compliments on you.

It affects many things, certain accts like Siemens may not be available if you have bad notes on your record, it can even affect whether you can get help with a breakdown , how much help or none at all.

That may not be in thoughts sometimes, but it should be.

But , no popcorn is needed for this show, there is no show.

There is no reaction, I spoke plain truth and it wasn't accepted well .

Rumble is probably simply used to being screwed , blued and tattooed at other carriers.

Hopefully, he will see that this place is different, the folks do what they say they will.

It will take a bit to get over that trust issue.

I just thought it was a bit early to sling arrows.

I would even be willing to go over the finer details of the load board , if he was willing.

One thing is for sure , after I was asked to be one of the contractor mentors, I learned to have a thicker skin, I have folks who were once friends who are no longer, mainly because I try to learn new systems , adapt , and find a way to make things work.

Mercer has been good to me in my 7 years here , I try my best to work things out when there is a problem

I have seen many , some on this page, run them down , and quit. And somehow they end up back here at mercer.

I still believe that a person worst enemy is the guy who looks at him in the mirror.

But no, no reaction from me on this , I got bigger fish to fry in life. I have dealt with far worse in life.

But I would still be willing to help this fellow navigate his way here starting off.

You can use carpet, it's purpose is not to scratch the coating on coated pipe

No it went to PA. It sucked tarping cuz half had to be tarped. So I had 1 tarp in front. Non in middle and one in back. It looked like #### lol

 

No it's a discount off the pm, nothing to do with the no sales tax states

 

Hmmm... I thought you do dedicated shingles? Why are some tarped and some not?

 

Depends on what they are wrapped in and where they are going.
