    We have an issue with this truck. A stop engine light came on. About the same time the jake brake quit working. Has any come accross this problem ?

    See what codes come up and call your local dealer. They can tell you what may be the problem if you know the codes. It could be something as simple as a sensor, or your software in the ECU may need to be updated.

    The code are 1265 fmi5. 4813 fmi5 4811fmi 4. 647 fmi5. 3675 fmi 5 3675 fmi 4and 5. 1072 fmi 5. Thats all the codes it is coming up with

    all these codes have FMI 5 current below normal or open circuit i think its something to do with the 5 volt supply to the sensors you have a broken wire or shorted wire
    somewhere try this
    isolate the truck go to the left side of the motor on the black wiring harness (under intake manifold)there's 3 or 4 plugs about 4" long with yellow clips on them grab the yellow clips pull them out and pull the plug straight out and spray some contact cleaner or CRC in the plug and spray the pin side, drain off any excess push the plug straight back in (Be Careful though) and try that.
