If the guy likes his job, then he likes it enough to post here. Stop calling everyone a recruiter when they like something you don't.
Sometimes I think most of you guys are recruiters for fast food and Mountain Dew.

When someone comes along and posts a "great" off the chart review about a company who has the reputation as k&b does and never comes back on, then yes they are definetly some recruiter who comes on as a one post hit & run..Western flyer Thanks this.

I don’t know, I heard everyone over there rarely washes their neck. That simply wouldn’t do for someone like me.

I've often likened choosing and liking a trucking company to finding a life long partner. What one guy might absolutely be in love with the other guy might absolutely hate. They'll say things like oh there's over 100 different drivers that have written something bad about that company how could you possibly be happy with it? The bottom line is we all have different personalities different traits different likes and dislikes, i'd hear lots of folks saying no NYC yet i didn't have an issue going there. So your happy with the company then that's all that matters and we all hope you will stay happy there.Last edited: Feb 27, 2018

Sounds like something KB management would say. LOLDTP, Wicked Wizard, drvrtech77 and 1 other person Thank this.

Thank u 4 letting me know that ppl with few posts like me (new driver) could mean its a friggin recruiter trying 2 sell their company. I was looking at this one too
-
It would take a 100 different threads with a couple
Hundred drivers on each one talking positively about
This company to start to change the reputation of
This company.
And they would have to last a year or two at that.
Not some random new person with thier first
Post on the forum.
Despite what the suits in the office tell you,
We ain't as stupid as you think.
As you can see nobody jumped on your bandwagon.
You got a better chance sitting in the lounge at the
Petro and pestering every rookie with a mega with
Your song and dance.
They don't know any better yet.
This is mostly a old battle hardened group on TTR.
We just laugh at your post when you tell us how
Good k@b is.
You got 2 more years and a 1000 positive post
To go before we take you seriously.Last edited: Mar 7, 2018
Vic Firth, drvrtech77 and motocross25 Thank this. -
But are you on here with just a few posts going on about how great a company with a terrible reputation is? I don't have many posts either. But I'm not on here singing songs of praise about a trucking company out of the blue.

I have tried to get through to the people who run this company why exactly their reputation is bad. Maybe it sank in to some degree (I am surely not the only driver to give em a healthy piece of my mind) because, as far as I can see, the behavior and attitude of dispatch has greatly improved over last 18 months. Also, they have become a lot more reasonable about such things as stopping for weather or fatigue, not screwing with our safety bonus for going a few minutes over the clock and not calling us on our breaks.
Starting May 7, pay is going up significantly and even new hires with only 6 mos experience will get 50cpm with a 2500 mile/week guarantee. Also, the maintenance has always been excellent.
I really did make some pretty hard runs at the owners and exec's both in person and in writing about the reason for good drivers quitting and trashing their rep: disrespectful and harassing behavior by their poorly trained or supervised dispatch staff.
Maybe my impression is skewed, maybe they just treat me better because I demanded it but I do believe that the over all culture has actually improved.Last edited: Mar 11, 2018
