Not sure what you mean by May giving short runs, u must have been western 11. May is pretty good about giving OTR drivers long runs. I average a lot of 1500 mile plus runs.

Not sure what went wrong in your case, but that’s not typical. I average 2900 miles a week (just turned a 3600 mile week). Average length of haul for me is 1800 miles.
Were you on Western 11 dry van? I will say I’ve never heard a good thing about May’s Western 11 option.smokey12 Thanks this. -

No they didn't, not sure who started that rumor.

They are down there some, May has a terminal in Pensacola, I delivered near Jacksonville. 2 months ago

May trucking hasn't sold to anyone. They've rejected multiple offers from numerous carriers.

I heard a rumor (unconfirmed) that May closed the Payette terminal for a day or so until the old man (Everette May, I think?) caught wind of it and he promptly marched down to Brooks and assured the yahoo running the company now days that he had about 5 minutes to get it back open.
